Rules to Follow at Gist Kinsman Ranch

- Hunter must have a valid Texas hunting license and hunters safety permit if applicable to their age and or state of residence.

- All hunters will sign a liability release form.

- Alcohol will not be served by staff at the ranch house. Hunters may bring their own legal adult beverages and partake responsibly in the evening after all firearms are put up. (The ranch manager reserves the right to encourage any of its guests to stop drinking. Drunkenness will not be tolerated and any problems will be dealt with swiftly.) We only ask for responsible adult behavior in order that all of our guests remain in a fun and safe environment.

- Guests will be asked to treat staff with the respect and courtesy they deserve.

- We are here to be of service to you, but not to ‘baby-sit’ bad behavior.

- All hunting will be done with a personal guide.

- We will try and be as accurate as possible in scoring your trophy, but the responsibility is the hunters on whether to pull the trigger or not.

- The buck harvested will be priced based on the gross SCI score.

- A wounded deer (defined as ‘any blood / tissue sign’) will be considered a dead deer.

- Any expense incurred with recovering a wounded buck will be the responsibility of the hunter (i.e. tracking dogs, etc.) We will find a hunters trophy buck!
